Travel to Dubai

Well here we are at some unbelievable height (11 Kilometers) flying over Australia on our way to Dubai.   We are sitting forward this time so it is much quieter than we are used to.   Someone isn't pedaling in sync because the ride is a bit bumpy at the moment.   Anyway, we made it after one cancellation and two delays from Canberra to Melbourne.   We were pretty much the last people to board the plane.
We have exit seats so we have plenty of leg room and can get up and walk around.   Total flying time to Dubai is thirteen hours and forty minutes (13:40).   Can't wait to put my head down on a pillow.

Aircraft Track

Not something you see every day; a view of our aircraft from the top of the tail fin.
You can see the curvature of the earth from this height.   A mere -50 Centigrade outside our window.

Our seats.  On the exit row so there is plenty of room to move.

Qantas food isn't much to talk about; beef and chicken with fancy names (I even found a piece of beef in the beef whatever; thought that was nice) .    The warm bread rolls were nice though :)
